How To Permanently Delete Messages From Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon lies in the top left corner as well as appears like 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation having the message or messages you intend to remove. If it is not detailed on the initial Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to view every one of your personal messages. Click the discussion on that list consisting of the message you wish to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" switch and then click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located beside the messages you want to delete.
Click "Delete" and afterwards click "Delete Messages" to verify that you wish to erase the chosen messages.
Tip
To remove a whole discussion instead of private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third step.
Warning
Erasing a personal message in your Messages inbox does not delete it from the inbox of your discussion companion.
