Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
How To Permanently Delete Facebook Messages
Step 1. Click the "Messages" icon on your Facebook homepage. The Messages icon is located in the leading left edge and resembles 2 small overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation including the message or messages you want to erase. If it is not noted on the first Messages pop-up home window, click "See All" to check out all of your private messages. Click the conversation on that particular listing having the message you want to erase.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and afterwards click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes situated alongside the messages you want to erase.
Click "Delete" and then click "Delete Messages" to verify that you wish to delete the picked messages.
Tip
To erase an entire discussion rather than private messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions food selection in the third step.
Warning
Erasing a personal message in your Messages inbox does not erase it from the inbox of your discussion companion.
