Permanently Delete Facebook Chat History Using a Computer
1. Open Facebook.
2. Click the Messages icon at the top right of the screen. It's the one between the buttons for buddy demands and alerts.
3. Click the message string you want to permanently remove to make sure that it appears at the end of the display.
Tip: You can also open up all the threads at the same time with the See All in Messenger link at the end of the pop-up, but if you do that, skip down to thing 2 listed below.
4. Use the tiny equipment symbol beside that home window's leave switch (called Options if you float your computer mouse over it) to open up a new food selection.
5. Select Delete Conversation from that pop-up food selection.
6. When asked to Delete This Entire Conversation?, pick Delete Conversation.
